If you want to be involved with some of the most irritating fan games ever created, then look no more. Boss AI being completely random and soulless, most enemies placed horribly with too much health, unimaginative stages and clunky controls, SF X MM ends up disappointing on all aspects.
An inconsistent mess that likes random gameplay mechanics, something that Mega Man was never supposed to be. Stay away.
If at the time it was announced, you were anxiously waiting to play this game, you found only frustration.
The idea of the crossover is very interesting but ended up being a disappointment.
For me the only thing that has this game of Megaman games …. is the megaman´s sprite, and the stage select.
The enemies seem to be drawn from some other NES game, but not from Megaman.
The only thing that I appreciate, is the transformation of the SF characters to 8 bits. (really a good job and could be an official game)
